Amazon opened holiday deal submissions on July 8, 2026, earlier than in past years, giving sellers a longer runway to plan for Prime Big Deal Days and Black Friday Week/Cyber Monday (BFCM). The submission window runs July 8–September 8 for Big Deal Days and July 8–October 20 for BFCM, with a $50 discount on the upfront promotion fee for sellers who submit early. At Adorbix, we're already building client submission and inventory timelines around these dates — here's what every seller needs to know.
To keep Prime-badge eligibility on deal listings, inventory must arrive at Amazon facilities by set dates ahead of each event:
For Prime Big Deal Days: September 2 (AWD shipments), September 9 (FBA shipments with minimal shipment splits), September 16 (FBA shipments with Amazon-optimized shipment splits — the option most sellers use).
For Black Friday Week/Cyber Monday: October 14 (AWD shipments), October 21 (FBA shipments, minimal splits), October 28 (FBA shipments, Amazon-optimized splits).
Holiday peak fulfillment fees return October 15, 2026 through January 14, 2027, applying to FBA, Remote Fulfillment with FBA, Multi-Channel Fulfillment, and Buy with Prime. The per-unit increase over non-peak rates matches last year, averaging $0.32 per unit, with the existing 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge still applying on top. Sellers can preview peak rates now in the Revenue Calculator, Profit Analytics dashboard, and Fee and Economics Preview Report.
The biggest risk isn't the fees — it's timing. Inventory arrival deadlines for the "Amazon-optimized shipment splits" option (used by most sellers) fall as early as September 16 for Big Deal Days, which means sourcing, manufacturing, and shipping decisions need to be locked in well before that. Waiting until September to plan holiday inventory typically means missing early-bird discounts and risking Prime-badge eligibility altogether.
If you want help mapping your submission and inventory timeline against these deadlines, reach out to Adorbix — we're building these calendars with clients this week.
